Japan has its own unique characters that dates back to ancient times.
In 1949, Kogetsu Narazaki was introduced to literature by a man named Hiratouji while on Mt. Rokko. This led to his research and decipherment of the Katakamuna characters. These and other ancient Japanese characters are believed to possess mysterious powers. The Katakamuna civilization is thought to have existed even before the Jomon period in Japan. I created the KAMUNA series to help people recall the Mitama (spirit) of that era. It is my hope that these ancient Japanese characters will resonate with your spirit and inspire you to work towards a new era of peace, free from all conflicts.

The dotted Katakamuna characters can be replaced with birthstones. You can choose from a variety of birthstones, including garnet, amethyst, aquamarine, diamond, emerald, moonstone, ruby, peridot, pink and blue sapphire, pink tourmaline, blue topaz, and tanzanite.
